Updated over a week ago

For interiors, data is captured by using 360-degree cameras and accessories connected to a mobile device, and the whole process is managed through our mobile app.

This guide provides detailed instructions on how to capture data using the mobile app.

Capturing data involves a series of steps to ensure accurate and effective recording using your mobile app and 360 camera. Follow the steps below to complete the process.

  • Capture Steps - 360 Video

The following steps describe the process of taking a capture of a specific project, such as a tower or a floor, using the manual 360-photo capture mode.

    Stepwise Description:

    1. Tap into the project of your interest that you wish to capture. This takes you to the project sections screen showing different levels.

    2. Tap into the corresponding section you wish to capture for. This will load up the project design view.

    3. Tap on the shutter icon at the bottom right of the screen to open the capture type options. Select 360 video walk type from here.

Note: If your 360 camera is not connected to your phone, the app will prompt you to connect the camera at this point. If you have trouble connecting the camera, please refer to this article.

    4. A corresponding section floor plan loads up. The next step is to select the location from which and the direction in which you want to take the photo.

Tap on the floor plan where you think is the starting point and adjust the direction based on your walk path.

    5. Tap on start recording to initiate 360 camera capture. The app will show the capture in progress and alert you once the capture is complete. Choose to Save or Discard it.

    6. The data upload part has 2 steps:

      • Step 1: Sync the image from the camera to your phone

      • Step 2: After completion of data sync from the camera to the mobile, you can press on the upload icon to initiate the data upload to the cloud.
