Uploading Drawing and BIM

This article provides instructions on how to upload multiple sheets and BIMs to your project levels. Previously, you were limited to uploading one sheet or BIM at a time. Now, you can streamline your document management process by uploading multiple files simultaneously.

Uploading Sheets or BIMs

  1. Go to the page where you view your project's hierarchy and designs. Find the "Plus" button corresponding to the level where you want to upload the files. This will open a popup where you can upload your sheets or BIMs.

  • Once the "Plus" button is selected a pop will open asking you drag and drop or select the the sheet file from your computer. Supported file types include PDF and DWG.

  • Once clicked and the files are selected, you will see a option to crop the plan if required and click upload drawing to finish the upload process.

  • From the same screen, you can also upload the same plan to different levels, just by simply clicking the level information drop down and select the level you would like to upload the plan and click upload drawing

  • You'll be prompted to select the sheet type (e.g., Structural, Architectural, Electrical). You can also create you own sheet types.


    ​Note: The first sheet is automatically set to "Default Drawing." Once Architectural sheet is uploaded it becomes default sheet.

Uploading BIM's:

  • Click the "Plus" button and select the BIM file from your computer. Supported file types include NWD and RVT. Click Upload the BIM will begin uploading.

  • After uploading a BIM, you can add more files by clicking the "Plus" button. And you will see the upload status with a status bar corresponding to the respective level and you will also see a upload status.

Viewing and Managing Uploaded sheets and BIM

  • View Uploaded Files: Once the uploads are complete, By clicking on the designs you'll be able see previews of the uploaded sheets and BIMs against the corresponding level.

  • Replace a Design: If you need to replace a sheet or BIM, click the "Replace" button and upload a new file.

  • Download a Design: To download a sheet or BIM, click the "Download" button.
