Reality Date Selector
Updated over a week ago

This feature allows you to explore different "reality types" associated with specific dates. Each reality type represents a unique way of experiencing information.

How it Works:

  1. Date Ring: Each date on the calendar is surrounded by a colored ring.

    • Solid Ring: One reality type available for that date.

    • Half Rings: Two reality types available.

    • Multiple Arcs: More than two reality types available (equal segments for each type).

  2. Hovering: Hovering your mouse over a date reveals a tooltip displaying all available reality types for that date.

  3. Clicking a Date: Clicking a date with a colored ring will filter the view to show only the information related to the available reality type(s) for that date. The ring will turn orange to indicate selection.

Legend:

A separate legend will explain the meaning of each color and its corresponding reality type.

Multi-Select:

In the future, you will be able to select multiple reality types using an "or" function. This will show dates where at least one of your selected types is available. However, the individual reality type breakdown for each date will still be displayed.

Example:

  • Date: January 1, 2024

    • Reality Types: 360 Image (Blue), Phone Image (Green), 360 Video (Red)

  • Date: January 3, 2024

    • Reality Type: Phone Image (Green) only

  • If you select "360 Image" (Blue), January 1st will be highlighted with three colored segments (Blue, Green, Red). January 3rd will show no ring as it doesn't have 360 Images.

Tips:

  • Use the legend to understand the different reality types available.

  • Experiment with single and multi-select options (when available) to explore information based on your preferences.

Note: Currently, the behavior is such that the calendar shows only four different colors for different realities. In case there are more than four, then one of the five colors will not be displayed. It could be for any of the five colors.
