Uploading Sheets and BIMs

This article provides instructions on how to upload multiple sheets and BIMs (Building Information Models) to your project levels. Previously, you were limited to uploading one sheet or BIM at a time. Now, you can streamline your document management process by uploading multiple files simultaneously.

Uploading Sheets or BIMs

  1. Navigate to the Hierarchy and Designs Section: Go to the page where you view your project's hierarchy and designs.

  2. Click the "Add Designs" Button: Find the "Attach Designs" button corresponding to the level where you want to upload the files. This will open a popup where you can upload your sheets or BIMs.

Uploading Multiple Sheets:

  • Select the Sheet File: Click the "Attach Design" button and select the sheet file from your computer. Supported file types include PDF and DWG.

  • Specify the Sheet Type: For subsequent sheets, you'll be prompted to select the sheet type (e.g., Structural, Architectural, Electrical).

  • You can also create you own sheet types.

    Note: The first sheet type is automatically set to "Architectural Drawing."

  • Adjust the Sheet (Optional): If the sheet is a PDF, you can adjust its size and crop it before uploading and once done Click Upload.

Uploading Multiple BIM's:

  • Select the BIM File: Click the "Choose File" button and select the BIM file from your computer. Supported file types include NWD and RVT. Click Upload the BIM will begin uploading.

  • Add More Files: After uploading a sheet or BIM, you can add more files by clicking the "Add more" button.

Viewing and Managing Uploaded sheets and BIM

  • View Uploaded Files: Once the uploads are complete, you'll see previews of the uploaded sheets and BIMs against the corresponding level.

  • Replace a Design: If you need to replace a sheet or BIM, click the "Replace" button and upload a new file.

  • Download a Design: To download a sheet or BIM, click the "Download" button.

Note: You can upload multiple sheets or BIMs to any project level or sublevel. The system automatically detects whether a file is a sheet or BIM based on its file type. You can upload files while previous files are still uploading.
