This article explains how to upload existing photos from your device's gallery when using the Phone Image Mode. This feature allows you to include relevant visual data that may have been captured outside of the app's direct camera function.
Adding Photos from the Gallery in Phone Image Mode
This feature is ideal when you want to add a photo to a specific location and direction on the map without taking a new picture directly through the app.
Steps:
From the app , navigate to and click on "Phone Image type"
On the displayed map, accurately select the location where the photo was taken and specify the direction the camera was facing.
Click the "Start Capturing" button. This will initiate the camera within the app.
On the camera screen, locate and tap the "Gallery Option" (often represented by a photo icon or a gallery thumbnail).
Your device's photo gallery will open. Select the single image you wish to upload.
Note: Only one image can be selected at a time for this process.
Once the image is selected and the date is confirmed, click "Save Capture" to finalize the upload and associate the photo with the chosen location and direction.
