For interiors, data is captured by using 360-degree cameras and accessories connected to a mobile device, and the whole process is managed through our mobile app.
This guide provides detailed instructions on how to capture data using the mobile app.
Capture Steps - 360 Video
The following steps describe the process of taking a capture of a specific project, such as a tower or a floor, using the manual 360-photo capture mode.
Stepwise Description:
On the mobile app, once logged in, go to the project you would like to initiate capture. Click on "Download offline to capture"
click on ‘Capture’ on the project card
Select the level to be captured.
Select ‘360 Video Walk’ as the Capture Type from the prompted options.
At this point, the app attempts to join the selected camera Wi-Fi to establish connection.
Click ‘Join’ to allow the app to connect with the camera through its Wi-Fi.
How to Do the 360 Video Capture:
Mark your initial position and walk direction on the floor map, and initiate the recording. Once the start position and direction is set, you'll see an option called progress toggle.
This enables you to decide if the progress has to be tracked for this particular capture, if you do not wish to track any progress for this capture you can simply turn off the toggle.


After the position is marked, you will be prompted to assign a tag to the capture, this is not mandatory to do it before capture you can assign tags at later point too. You can also know more about tags Capture tags
To end the capture, simply tap on the ‘Stop Recording’ icon.
Also, you can see the level information from the capture screen ensuring the captures are associated to the right level. Tap on ‘Save Video Walk’ option to save the capture.
