Adding 360 Images to Existing Pinpoints

This article explains how to add 360 images to existing pinpoints in your project. This functionality allows you to enhance your visual documentation by including additional images captured from your device.

  • Log in to your account and select the project where you want to add new 360 images.

  • Click on Capture to open the project hierarchy.

  • From the hierarchy, select the level that already contains images.

  • Once you select the level, a pop-up window will appear showing different capture types. Select “360 image.”

The floor plan for the selected level will open, displaying all existing image pins.

  • Click on the pinpoint to which you’d like to add a new photo.

  • This will open the details page for that pinpoint.

  • Click on “Add new photo.”

  • When you click “Add new photo,” the capture process will start automatically. Complete the capture as required.

  • After the capture, a preview of the 360 images will appear.

  • Here, you can choose to Save the image or discard it if you’d like to retake it.

  • Once saved, the image will move to the Upload screen.

  • On the Upload screen, initiate the upload process.

  • Once the upload is complete, the new 360 image will be saved and linked to the selected pinpoint.

By following these steps, you can enrich your existing pinpoints with additional 360 images, ensuring comprehensive and detailed visual records for your project.

Deleting Images and Pins

This feature allows you to remove outdated or incorrect images, ensuring your project documentation remains relevant and accurate.

Deleting Images or Pins:

  1. Open Timeline View: Access the timeline view where your images and pins are displayed.

  2. Select Image or Pin: Click on the specific image or pin you wish to delete.

  3. Choose "Delete": Select the "Delete" option. This is usually represented by a trash can icon or a menu option labeled "Delete."

  4. Choose Deletion Scope: You will be presented with two options:

    • Selected Image: This option will delete only the image you have currently selected.

    • Entire Pin: This option will delete the selected pin and all images associated with that pin.

Confirm Deletion: A confirmation dialog will appear, asking you to verify your choice. This step is crucial to prevent accidental deletions. Confirm the deletion to proceed.
