Heat Map View-Visualize Zone-Level Progress Activity

Updated over a week ago

Overview

The Heat Map View in Track3D provides a powerful way to visually compare progress activity across different zones on your project site. By enabling this feature users can quickly assess which areas have made significant progress and which may require attention, based on a green-to-red color scale.

Why Use Heat Map View?

  • Visualize activity levels across zones during a specific time period.

  • Identify stalled or slow-moving areas instantly.

  • Prioritize inspection or intervention based on visual cues.

  • Monitor overall project performance zone by zone.

How It Works

  • The Heat Map is available only in Design View and works only with Delta Progress Mode.

  • When enabled, it automatically Switches to Delta Mode. Activates the Zones toggle. Selects all zones (if none were selected manually)

Applies a color gradient to zones:

  • 🟩 Green: High progress

  • πŸŸ₯ Red: Low progress

  • βšͺ Grey/Transparent: No data

  • Turn ON the Progress layer. Ensure Delta Mode is active (not Cumulative).

Toggle ON Zones Layer-This will display zone outlines on the structure.

  • Click the Heat Map Toggle Found in the layers Panel from the drop down at top. Turning it ON will. Automatically activate Delta Mode Turn on Zone layer if not already active

  • Select all zones if none were selected Apply the color scale based on progress

Hover Over Any Zone A tooltip appears showing:

  • Zone name

  • % progress during the selected date range

  • Stalled tag (if applicable)

  • More progress = Greener zones

  • Less progress = Redder zones

  • No data = Grey or transparent zones

  • Stalled zones appear in deep red with a special tag
