SD Card Storage Space
Updated over a week ago

Managing the SD Card space in a 360-degree camera for interior capture is critical to ensure a successful capture using the Track3D Capture App. Lack of sufficient free space on the SD Card could result in an unsuccessful capture. Below are ways in which the Track3D app helps user to manage space.

  1. When the capture is initiated with the Track3D mobile app, the camera battery and SD card space information is displayed on the top right corner.

  2. The app will automatically check for available space prior to starting the capture. If the available space is less than 25% or 16 GB, the capture will not be initiated.

  3. During the capture, the app will continuously monitor the available space on the SD Card.

  4. If the available space drops below 10% or 6 GB, the app will alert you to free up space.

  5. If the available space drops below 5 GB, the capture will be paused automatically and you will need to free up space on the SD Card to continue the capture.

It is important to regularly transfer photos from the SD Card to another storage device to prevent data loss in case of an SD Card failure. Also, make sure to safely remove the SD Card from your camera before removing it from your mobile device.
