User and Camera Info in Track3D
Updated over a week ago

This article explains a new feature in Track3D that provides user and camera information for specific scans. Here's what you need to know:

What is User and Camera Info?

This feature can be used from the bottom left hand side of the screen

This feature allows you to see details associated with each scan, including:

  • User: The name of the user who captured the scan.

  • Camera: The type of camera used for capturing the scan (information may vary depending on availability).

Availability:

This information will not be available for all scans within Track3D. It will only be accessible for scans captured after 4th of March 2024. Scans captured before this date will not have this information attached.

Benefits:

  • Improved Accountability: Identify the user responsible for capturing each scan, aiding in project management and tracking.

  • Enhanced Context: Understanding the camera used for capture can provide valuable context for interpreting the scan data (especially relevant if different cameras offer varying capabilities).

We're constantly working to improve Track3D and provide you with the most valuable tools for managing your projects. Stay tuned for further updates!
