Drone Measurement and Viewer

Overview

Track3D's measurement tools allow you to extract spatial insights—like distances, areas, volumes, and elevation profiles—directly from your drone orthomaps without needing to export data.

What You Can Do

  • Measure length, area, and stockpile volumes

  • Draw and analyze cross-sections with elevation profiles

  • Label and save measurements for future reference

  • Filter, edit, and manage measurement history

  • View measurements across multiple drone captures

  • Overlay design files for comparison

Create a Measurement

  • Select the project and level where the drone data is available. Once in the level, select a capture point from the floor plan and click view image which will open the drone view.

  • Once the drone view is selected, you will see multiple options from the bottom right of the screen from which select the “Map View” to open the Ortho map.

Select a Measurement Tool

  • Click the drop down from the top of the screen and select the measurement feature. Choose the type of measurement you would like to create from the list

  • Point

  • Length

  • Cross Section

  • Stockpile

  • Area

Draw Your Measurement

  • Click to drop points and form your shape or path.

  • Finalize by double-clicking the point and fill out the details from the form to save the measurement and the tool auto-calculates the selected measurement.Your measurement is now listed with:

  • Type

  • Name

  • Created By

  • Timestamp
