Many construction teams use Fieldwire for site coordination and Track3D for progress tracking. Previously, keeping both platforms in sync required duplicate setup.
With the new Fieldwire integration, Track3D now lets you import designs directly—saving time and ensuring consistency across both tools.
What You Can Do
Link your Fieldwire project to Track3D.
Import designs (floor plans) directly from Fieldwire.
Optionally import associated Fieldwire tasks.
Keep designs linked for future updates and visibility.
Reduce manual steps and keep both platforms in sync.
Link Your Fieldwire Account
Go to Project Settings → Integrations in Track3D. Click “Link Fieldwire Project.”
You’ll be prompted to enter your Fieldwire API key. The system will verify it—if invalid, you’ll be asked to try again.
Once connected, you'll see a list of Fieldwire projects you have access to. Select the project you want to link with your Track3D project.
Note: Only users with access to the selected Fieldwire project can import from it.
Import Designs from Fieldwire
Navigate to Project Settings → Hierarchy & Designs. Click “Add Designs” and choose “Import from Fieldwire.”
You will see a list of available Fieldwire designs for the linked project. Select the designs you want to import. Choose the sheet type for each design before importing.
Trimming of Fieldwire-imported designs is not allowed.
Track3D always imports the latest available version of the selected Fieldwire design.
If a new version is added in Fieldwire after import, Track3D will:
Notify the project admins via email
Not automatically replace the sheet—you’ll need to manually re-import
Upon a successful import: The uploader will receive an email confirming the import.
If the API key expires or is revoked: All project admins will be notified and asked to reconnect. Existing designs and data will be preserved and relinked if possible.
Limitations
Only designs from linked Fieldwire projects can be imported.
Auto-updates of designs are not supported currently.
Deleted Fieldwire designs remain on Track3D but cannot be updated or re-imported unless re-linked.
Users cannot trim Fieldwire-imported sheets.
