Importing Punchlists from Fieldwire to Track3D

Overview

Many construction teams use Fieldwire for punchlist tracking and Track3D for visual progress documentation. To reduce duplication and improve coordination, Track3D now allows users to import punchlists from Fieldwire directly onto their designs.

This article explains how to enable punchlist import, how syncing works, and how to view imported data within Track3D.

How to: Import Punchlists from Fieldwire

Go to Project Settings → Integrations. Click “Link Fieldwire Project”. Enter your Fieldwire API key. Once verified, select the project you want to connect to. Once connected, you will see the link ID.

Import a Design from Fieldwire

Navigate to Project Settings → Hierarchy & Designs. Click “Add Designs” → “Import from Fieldwire.”

Select a design. Choose whether to import associated punchlists.

View Imported Punchlists

  • Punchlists appear as Notes on the design.

Punchlist Sync Behavior

  • Punchlists are automatically synced daily at 12 AM UTC.

  • Updates include: New punchlists Updated data and a refreshed PDF

Limitations

  • Fieldwire punchlists are only shown on design views, not on the reality view.

  • If the Fieldwire API key is expired or revoked: Users will receive a notification to reconnect.

  • Existing data remains on Track3D. Deleted Fieldwire projects/designs do not remove data from Track3D, but syncing will be disabled.
