Overview
Track3D supports automatic sync of floorplans imported from Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). When a drawing or sheet is updated in ACC, the latest version is automatically reflected in Track3D, removing the need for manual re-imports.
This ensures that project teams always work with the most up-to-date design documents within Track3D.
How Automatic Sync Works
Initial Import from ACC
Floor plans are imported into Track3D using the ACC integration
Track3D stores sheet identifiers and version metadata
Track3D regularly checks ACC for:
New versions of existing sheets
Sheet replacements
Version Comparison
The latest version in ACC is compared with the version stored in Track3D
If a newer version is detected, Track3D automatically initiates the update
Automatic Sheet Replacement
The older sheet in Track3D is replaced with the latest ACC version
No user action is required
The sheet remains linked to the same project and structure
Notifications
When a floorplan update is detected:
An email is sent to the original design uploader:
The latest version of the sheet has been updated for – {Design Name}.
