Overview
The Alerts section in Track3D helps Superintendents and Project Managers proactively identify stalled work, slowed progress, and low-confidence tracking issues—all from a single, centralized view.
Instead of navigating across multiple levels and zones, Alerts bring together the most critical project risks so teams can act early and prevent schedule delays.
Why Alerts Matter
On large construction projects, delays often go unnoticed until they begin impacting schedules and budgets. Alerts help you:
Identify stalled or slowed stages early
Focus on high-risk areas that need immediate attention
Take corrective action using data-backed suggestions
Maintain accountability by tracking cleared and past alerts

Snoozing and Resolving Alerts
You can snooze an alert to revisit it later, or clear it once it's been addressed — with a full history maintained for reference and accountability. The existing set of alerts you're used to seeing is now called New Alerts, alongside two new sections: Snoozed Alerts and Cleared Alerts.
Snoozing an Alert
Use Snooze when you want an alert to come back to your attention after a set period, without removing it from the list entirely.
Navigate to the Alerts page for your project. Select the alert you want to snooze from the "New Alerts" list.
Click the snooze icon on the alert. Select the time period you'd like to snooze the alert for.
Once snoozed, the alert moves out of "New Alerts" and into the "Snoozed Alerts" section, where you can view all your currently snoozed alerts and un-snooze them at any time before the snooze period ends.
Note: Snoozing an alert only affects your own view — if you snooze an alert, it doesn't get snoozed for other users on the project.
A snoozed alert won't reappear in "New Alerts" until its snooze period is complete. Once the time period ends, the alert automatically reappears at the top of "New Alerts."
If another user clears a snoozed alert before the snooze period ends, it moves to "Cleared Alerts" and drops out of your "Snoozed Alerts" list.
Resolving (Clearing) an Alert
Use Clear when an alert has been looked into and needs to be logged with a resolution, so your team has a record of what happened and who handled it.
Navigate to the Alerts page for your project. Locate the alert you want to clear from the "New Alerts" list.
Click the clear icon on the alert. Select one of the following options to clear the alert:
Resolved — the issue behind the alert has been fixed.
Acknowledged — the alert has been reviewed and doesn't need further action.
Other — for any other reason not covered above. Add a comment describing the clearing reason.
For "Resolved" and "Acknowledged," a comment is optional (up to 1000 characters).
For "Other," a comment is mandatory (up to 1000 characters). Confirm to clear the alert.
Once cleared, the alert moves to the "Cleared Alerts" section, visible to everyone on the project.
Note: Clearing an alert reflects for all users on the project — anyone who had it in their "New Alerts" or "Snoozed Alerts" will see it move to "Cleared Alerts."
The "Cleared By" column shows the date the alert was cleared and the name of the user who cleared it, or an "Auto Cleared" tag if the alert was cleared automatically by the system.
Hover over a cleared alert to view the comment left when it was resolved. Auto-cleared alerts won't show a hover comment, since no comment was added.
Filtering Alerts
You can filter alerts by:
Level or zone
Category or stage
Alert type
Alert date
Click any arrow mark on column header to sort. Alerts column sorts by category + stage name
Impact column sorts numbers first, then text. Alert date sorts by date
Suggestions column does not support sorting.
Saving Views
Save frequently used filter combinations as Saved Views
Saved views allow quick access to alerts you are responsible for
Sorting preferences are not included in saved views
View an Alert in Detail
Hover over an alert row. Select View, or click directly on the alert name
You’ll be redirected to the Progress Cumulative page. Relevant level, zone (if applicable), category, and stage are automatically selected
This allows deeper analysis before taking action.
Export Alerts
Click Export to download alerts as an Excel file
The export includes:
Current filters
Applied sorting
Saved view selections (if used)
This is useful for reporting, reviews, or sharing with stakeholders.
Alert Summary and Reports
Clicking on an alert's name or its impact values redirects you to the relevant detail view, and exporting alert reports works the same way as before — across "New Alerts," "Snoozed Alerts," and "Cleared Alerts."
By snoozing and resolving alerts, you can keep your "New Alerts" list focused on what needs attention now, while maintaining a clear, accountable history of how every alert was handled. We hope this article has been helpful.
