Overview:
Track3D allows users to create and organize project structures by adding Levels and Sub-Levels within a building or site hierarchy. This feature is designed to reflect the physical structure of your project and helps in organizing captures, sheets, and progress data efficiently.
Adding Sublevels :
Here you can add Sublevels by using the button next to designs. Refer below image as well.
Once a sub-level has been created, users can streamline the setup process by creating up to 10 levels at once.
To do this:
Click the ➕ (plus) icon next to the sub-level where you'd like to add new levels.
A popup window will appear, prompting you to:
Enter the number of levels you wish to create (maximum: 10)
Define a naming prefix for the levels
Levels will be automatically named in sequence based on the prefix provided.
For example:
Prefix "Level" → creates Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, etc.
Prefix "Level 1" → creates Level 1 1, Level 1 2, Level 1 3, etc.
Once the levels are confirmed click add levels to finish your project setup.
Cloning Existing Levels for Faster Setup
To simplify and speed up project setup, Track3D now allows you to clone levels from an existing structure.
When cloning a level:
All associated sub-levels and structure details will be duplicated.
You also have the option to include or exclude associated designs/drawings during the duplication process.
If you only wish to copy the level hierarchy without the attached files, simply disable the design duplication toggle before confirming the action.
This feature is ideal for replicating similar floor or zone setups across multiple buildings or areas—saving you time and ensuring consistency.
Note: If the floor already has existing captures, those will not be moved or duplicated
